Copper-Gold-Magnetite plant in Russia

In close cooperation with the Norilsk Nickel Group, FLSmidth is completing the detailed plant engineering, equipment supply and commissioning services for the separation section of the Bystrinskoye project located in the Zabaikalsky Krai region of Eastern Siberia, Russia. FLSmidth will provide all process sections including flotation cells, gravity concentrators, magnetic separators, regrind mills, thickeners, filters, pumps and cyclones. The supply will also include plant electrics, instruments, samplers and a full automation system. The plant consists of two, parallel, five million tonne per year process lines providing a total throughput of ten million tonnes per annum.

New Iron Ore facility

Essar Minnesota Steel is constructing one of the first complete iron ore facilities to be built in the USA in more than 39 years. Essar is a valued repeat customer and has allowed FLSmidth to provide a number of components essential to the project located in Nashwauk, Minnesota USA. Orders have included gyratory and cone crushers, hydroseparators, thickeners, a disc filter, pumps and equipment for air pollution control.

Primary crusher headed to Mauritania

One of FLSmidth’s Top-Service (TS) gyratory crushers will be making its way to West Africa. The 14x21 primary crusher will be installed as part of an expansion project at a gold in Mauritania.

For FLSmidth, this is the 28th TS crusher sold to date and the eighth such machine ordered in this now-popular size. The TS crusher’s unique design enables service crews to access and maintain the crusher completely from the top alleviating safety concerns and reducing maintenance downtime.
