What are Regional Workshops?

The Regional Workshops are intensive, one-day events, held in Australian regional centres in close proximity to operating mines and plants. Rather than you travelling to capital cities, we bring FLSmidth’s most-experienced technical experts to you, meaning little or no travel costs and minimum disruption to production work.

Each workshop focusses specifically on discovering ways to maximise the performance of mineral processing equipment used in that region.

Why should I attend?

Flexibility is built into the workshop agenda, where participants are strongly encouraged to nominate topics, issues or questions they would like to have included in the discussion.

The workshop topics are therefore very much driven by the participants, not the presenters, and address issues that are real, not perceived.

The result is expert practical advice on methods of improving your own plant’s performance.

Learning objective

The objective of the workshops is to generate discussion on concentrate and tailings thickener processes and applications that are common to the mineral processing plants in the key mining regions of Australia.

They aim to provide participants with valuable information on optimising the function of thickeners and options for improvement in the processes and componentry of the thickeners.
